Postponing to 2021 - Our Southern California Chapter makes plans to return to Nepal

Changing Lives!

For more than 10 years, Dr. Jennifer D'Amico and her team, including our 2021 Nepal Team Leader Dr. Ali Khosroabadi, have traveled to Nepal to provide foot and ankle surgery.

Nepal has an extremely high rate of club foot deformity with an average of 782 babies born with this condition annually. HTC medical volunteers work to assess patients, provide foot and ankle surgery, and train local medical professionals in advanced techniques. One such technique is the Ponseti Method which can help to correct a young baby's club feet through manipulation and casting.

With an abundance of caution - our 2020 Nepal Team made the decision to cancel its 2020 trip due to the outbreak of COVID-19 in both China and Nepal. Our team is now planning for its next trip in the Spring of 2021. We are already raising funds for this exciting project to help to support some of the unmet costs of providing medical care in Nepal.

Thank you so much for your support!
