New Jersey:  Corrective Eye Surgery and Glasses

In April 2026, the HTC New Chapter team of 18 pediatric surgical mission volunteers arrived safely in Santiago, Dominican Republic and are hard at work helping the young children at Hospital Dr. Arturo Grullon. The team had a busy clinic day evaluating 114 children for corrective eye surgeries and referral to our eyeglass prescription clinic. 60 surgeries were scheduled for the week and 28 children were examined to receive free prescription eyeglasses.
